Global Archaeological Cultural Database

This project within the HESCOR initiative explores paleoclimate tipping points and their impact on cultural evolution. It involves establishing the Global Archaeological Cultural Database (GACD), collaborating in cultural cluster analysis and Human and Earth system coupled modeling. The aim of this working group is to bring together known databases in a more accessible way for a variety of researchers with specific research goals in cultural evolution. In addition, this project supports educational initiatives with suitable materials related to HESCOR's general findings to communicate results to the community including students.
